How should I book a room in you resort?

Indicate you name and surname, date of birth, dates of stay in our resort. Don’t forget to mention if you need transfer, as well as what tours you are planning to take.
You can call us directly.
We will send you a bill which you can cover in any bank. When we receive the proof of your payment, the rooms will be booked. You can either cover the whole sum or just 25% of it. The tour voucher will be given to you when you arrive in Irkutsk in our office or in the moment of leaving to the resort. Final payment can be made if needed in our office.
If you live in Irkutsk you can come to our office,

You can cover 25% of the whole sum but the final payment should be made no later that 14 days before the trip.
When is the shortest time to book the rooms?
While deciding to book the room in our resort you should bear in mind that “Chara” is a very popular resort among Irkutsk and Irkutsk region dwellers. You should book at least no later than 14 days before the planned trip.
Is it possible to purchase the tour right in the resort
We do not recommend going to the resort without the voucher. You should first visit our office to find out if there are available rooms there.
When the season is hot, there are no places available. You won’t be able to get a room.
When is the perfect time to visit the resort?
Any season is good. If you like peace and calm, come in May or in the beginning of June, August-September will also suit you. If you prefer active rest with friends, come in the middle of June when there are a lot of tourists, loads of interesting tours and events and water excursions.
How many days the stay lasts?

How should I cover the payment?
You should pay at once, it is impossible to pay in the very moment of arrival to the resort. Otherwise we won’t be able to book a place in the bus for you.
Where does the bus wait for the tourists?
On Fridays the bus goes from Irkutsk State Linguistic University (Lenin street) at 9 am. On other days of the week – the bus waits near the Angara hotel at 9 am.
When does the bus starts taking tourists to the resort?
The bus starts going from the 29th of May till the end of August. From the 12d of June till the 30th of August the bus goes every day.
How long does it take to go to the resort?
The route from Irkutsk to the resort is 250 km. It takes 4.5-5 hours for the bus to cover this distance and 3.5-4 hours for a car.
How can you describe the road to the resort?
The main distance (220 km from Irkutsk) is asphalt road and 30 km – is soil.
How should I get to the Irkutsk Linguistic University from the rail road station?
From the rail road station you can take buses number 20, 49, 69. The whole trip will take ten minutes. If you arrived before the planned trip to the resort, we can book you a hotel and organize city tours if you wish.
How should I get to the Irkutsk Linguistic University from the airport?
The airport is situated in the city. You can take a taxi, the ride will take you 20 minutes.
Is it possible to get to the resort by own means?
Certainly, it is possible. If you have a car you can take Kachug highway. On 123 km you will see Bayanday, turn right to Elantsy. Drive 77 km to Sarma fork, then you’ll see the sign “10 km to “Chara” .
Will my cell phone work in the resort?
If your mobile operators are BWC, MTS or Bi line, it will.
Is it possible to pay for the cell phone right in the resort?
It is possible, though, you should bear in mind that the resort is situated in 250 km from the city. You will have to ask for the payment cards in advance.
Is it possible to bathe there? What is the water temperature?
Due to the unique location of the resort (Maloye Morye Bay) the water in July is +23 C. (Baikal water is +11 C)
What cloths is preferable?
Baikal weather is not permanent. The weather changes rqapidly during the day. In the morning you can see the sun with no wind, but the evening can bring hurricanes and rain. Bring good cloths with you, impermeable and wind stress. Don’t forget good trekking boots. It is preferable that you take a pocket flash and warm underwear.
Is it possible to book the room without included meals and prepare the meal themselves?
It is possible. We have kitchen ware and an oven on the resort but you should ask for it in advance. But if you do this from economic reasons, it is not recommended, because you won’t save much.
What if we can’t make it to the early breakfast?
Warn our managers in advance and the cost of the breakfasts will be excluded from your payment.
What should we do if we overslept breakfast time?
Breakfast time is from 9 till 10 am. If you couldn’t show up for breakfast, the cost of it won’t be returned. Lunch time is from 2 till 3 pm.
Are roomed equipped with a kettle, fridge and TV set?
Unfortunately, the source of the electric power is limited on the resort. These electric sets demands a lot of power, which out autonomе station can not provide. But in our dining room you can always find a kettle with the boiled water which you can take to your room in a flask. There’s a TV set in the dining room too. There are no fridge available.
How are hygiene problems settled in your resort?
Each cottage and each room is equipped with a summer shower. The water warms on the sun. In rainy days there are no hot water. There is a paid hot shower room and two bath houses in the resort.
How much time do we need to visit all the tours?
Those who already visited the resort say that from 10 to 14 days are needed.
Are there any ATM in the resort?
Unfortunately, there are no ATM. If you need to get cash, do it in Irkutsk.
